Greetings! I hope that you are having a wonderful day. I am looking out at the beautiful sunshine where only an hour ago there was thunder and a downpour. What a wonderful world we live in!
This Sunday my dear friend Jonathan Frymire will be preaching. In leading us from who and what the church is (our series from Romans) into the call to Evangelism and Outreach (August) Jonathan will be preaching from Numbers where Moses brings the Elders and God spreads His Spirit. All of the Lord's people will be prophets - we are all called to be truth speakers for God. Come and here what Jonathan has to say!
Brett and I will be on vacation until the 6th of August. In an emergency please call Elder Kevin Campbell. We love you and will miss you!

I hope that you have had a chance this month to read through Romans. This week we are transition from theology (Romans 1-11) to practice (Romans 12-15). Come prepared!
We have talked about being dead to sin and alive to God (Romans 6), we have talked about the fact that nothing can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8), and last week Pastor Jack talked about being united as the body.
This Sunday, in continuing our series from Romans, I will be preaching from Romans 12:1-2. What does it mean to be a living sacrifice and transformed by the renewing of our minds? What does it mean to be totally committed to God?

Good morning! I hope that you are enjoying this beautiful July weather! Some of the Northeast Ohio pastors decide it would be a fun idea to do a pulpit exchange and this is the week!
This week I will be preaching at Cortland's First Church of God and Pastor Jack Ruble from the Parkman Rd. Church of God in Warren will be preaching here at Harvest Point. All of the pastor's participating in the pulpit exchange will be preaching on "Christian Unity."
It is important to remember that we are not alone in our cause for Christ - but that we have brother's and sister's all over the city, all over the county, all over Ohio, all over the country...all over the world! While we are one part of the kingdom, we are connected to all of those brother's and sister's!
I hope that you will come on this important Sunday to celebrate unity!

North American Convention
This past week Brett and I were at the North American Convention of the Church of God. What an amazing week it was! The sermons were fantastic, the worship was powerful, the experience was great!
