Good Afternoon! I continue to be amazed at the weather that we are having even now in the beginning of December! I know it won't last so I am enjoying it now.
Sunday is the second week of Advent, I will be talking about Peace. Peace on Earth - it's what we sing about every Christmas, it's what beauty queens wish for; but what is it really, what did Jesus have to say about it and how can we accomplish it? Come Sunday and find out!

Peace sells but who's buying? - Megadeth
ReplyDeleteThis is the title of an album with a song “Peace Sells” by a metal group named Megadeth. They attempt to break many of the stereotypes about the band and heavy metal fans in general. More specifically, that they are lazy, anti-government, and anti-religion, which are all untrue. Anyway, peace as the earthly world see’s it is something of a commodity. Like how this band uses peace to sell their image and records. An even better example is how our politicians use it for power and self benefit. True peace as God intended is free and delivered through our Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you Pastor Shannon for delivering a message that rings true to our hearts.
